London Fire Brigade responds to fires and other emergencies, works to prevent incidents and enforces fire-safety law for most premises in its area. Its governance is London Fire Commissioner, under the Greater London Authority framework.
The service’s community risk plan connects resources and prevention activity to local risks. It does not replace the duties held by employers, owners, landlords and other responsible persons.
