What the official dataset records
The district totals combine fires, false alarms and special-service incidents. They describe demand attended by SFRS, not only fires and not the compliance of buildings.

Fires, false alarms and special services
The official category download provides the county-wide composition but not a district-by-category cross-tab. We therefore do not infer how many of each district’s incidents were fires.

Sort order follows the six-year total. Changes in raw numbers can reflect population, land use, roads, reporting and service demand.

Read the figures correctly
What the comparison means
It can show
- Annual SFRS incident totals for every Surrey district
- How total attended demand changed from 2020 to 2025
- The county-wide mix of fires, false alarms and special services
- County-wide property-category totals
It cannot show
- Whether an individual premises is safe or compliant
- District fire totals separate from other incident categories
- Risk per premises, resident, visitor or operating hour
- Whether an incident could have been prevented

Three official downloads, kept separate
District, incident-category and property-category tables are separate official aggregates. This page connects them at county level but does not create unsupported district-by-category values.
