Surrey fire and rescue incidents, 2020–2025
61,328incidents were attended across Surrey’s 11 districts and boroughs during the six-year period.
The total covers every incident category—not only fires. This briefing separates the figures, shows the annual pattern and makes the district evidence easy to inspect and cite.
The concise finding
Attended demand eased after 2022, while the mix remained broader than fire alone
SFRS attended 61,328 incidents from 2020 to 2025. Fires accounted for 12,900; the remainder were false alarms or special-service incidents.
Annual attendance peaked at 11,382 in 2022. The 2025 total was 9,716, a decrease of 14.6% from that peak and 2.3% from 2024.

Calendar-year totals from 2020 through 2025 were taken from the dated Surrey-i source snapshot.

Fire, false-alarm and special-service totals are summed only within the published county category table.
- 03Calculate transparent changes
Percentage changes compare the published annual all-incident totals without adjustment or forecasting.
- 04Keep interpretation limits visible
District counts describe attended demand. They do not measure compliance or individual-premises risk.
